Portals & Entities

A show of ceramics and shrouds, astral projection and magical protection. This work forms part of a journey, made from a combination of scenes encountered whilst travelling through an Astral Realm, and the powerful landscape of West Cornwall.

The show features sites from an imagined terrain, which is simultaneously true to nature and location, yet fantastically ethereal and arranged with sacred sites appearing enormous and resonating energy. One site acts like a portal, transporting and delivering me through my travels. I call it my Space Dolmen. It’s a burial chamber, I think it might be ancestrally mine from a past life. The pieces of work in the show are an amalgamation of Cornish sacred sites, imagined sacred sites and magical oratories, and archetypal figures presented as standing stones, encountered through real-life pilgrimage and astrally projected visions.
