'Grief: A Love Letter' by Grace Ndiritu

Selected by Grace Ndiritu to contribute to her project ‘Grief: A Love Letter’, at a reading event at Digbeth Art Space, Birmingham 2023 as part of ‘All About Love’, a commission by Buildhollywood.

Ndiritu’s commission is inspired by a love letter written to her mother and one of her favourite artists, Mike Kelley. Presented on thirty sites across the city of Birmingham from 28-30 April 2023, in locations including the Custard Factory, the Old Crown Pub, Floodgate Street and Barford Street. 

 On Saturday 29 April Digbeth Artspace hosted a performative event, where we joined Grace in reading on Grief and Love.
